lock control panel

1. First, click Start
--> Run. Type: regedit (registry editor)
2. Go to the sub key:

3. Double-click on the string data [(Default)] and replace it’s contents into other, except shell32.dll. For example: shell32.dll-
4. Finished. Now, try to access your Control Panel. Then, you will find the messageNo Page To Display”. To restore it as before, simply revert back-to shell32.dll shell32.dll. (without the minus sign)

  1. Hi Nanda!

You definitely know the tricks, this was also useful for me, thanks for this but I need to ask a problem.

Actually my little brother is a gamer and sometime he disturb my important files as he too younger, every time I set a password on windows login (I'm using windows xp SP 2) but he breaks the password every time, I'm too worried about this, he uses safe mod and breaks the password.

Is there any trick that I can control the system and don't allow him to use?

    Thanks
    Michael
